Thankfully, the days of clipping coupons from the Sunday newspaper are long gone. Online coupon sites give us access to hundreds of coupons whenever we want—no scissors required. I checked out the Coupon Trick on the WSO’s and it looks sweet, although the warriors always write mouth-watering sales letters, it’s been closed. So Janie throw us a bone and tell us just a little more of what’s involved.
I always have the radar on looking for interesting solid opportunities and have been working with a local coupon site here in California:
These guy’s have been having no problems signing up business’s, but getting folks to visit their site and providing a email to receive or access their coupons has been tuff.
He was paying people $10hr to hit the streets wearing t-shirts to collect these emails. And you get $1 for every email you collect and $100 for every business you get.
So I approached him with a different method or trick, yuk I hate the word trick seems like a sleasy way of doing internet marketing. Anyway being the father of a 10yr old every week my son comes home with 2-5 flyers or I receive emails that are pretty much discount offers for products & services.
If you purchase a percentage of the sale is donated to the schools. So I told the owners of Valley Best Deals that if I can get the emails from the parents at these public schools would he consider donating $1 to the schools…he agreed.
I have since contacted around 35 elementary/middle schools that love the idea because there’s no upfront cost,delivery of products, no door-door and the can be run year round.
What’s been great is each of these schools has anywhere from 1600-2000 students. The schools I.T. administrator can simply email blast the parents with the offer or the kids simply take home a flyer & get their parents, relatives & neighbors to provide their email and intial their consent to receive the coupon offers.
It has so far created a win-win for both the schools and local business’s and get this when a parent buy’s a product or service the schools receives a additional donation from the business.
The catch for me was valleybestdeals.com only services those business’s in the San Fernando Valley, their not national. maybe this is way it’s working,… So if you think about it approach public schools in your community along with a coupon site that’s local or create your own coupon site.

As some of you already know, I was planning to blog about my site’s new theme and why I updated it, but I felt this topic was more important. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard about Google’s new privacy policy that will go into effect March 1, 2012.
There’s been a lot of chatter about this on the Web over the past three weeks, so I’ve been sitting back absorbing all the info.
Like many people, you may have ignored the updated policy notice and/or clicked “Dismiss” because who wants to read all that fine print, right?
Besides, you aren’t doing anything illegal or unethical online, so what’s the big deal? They’re just creating one policy that covers all their services. What’s the harm?
But, that’s just it.
Google knows you won’t read it clearly, and even if you do, you’ll probably get tripped up on the legal speak (blah, blah, blah…. Neeeext!)
So What’s New?
In a recent YouTube video, Google described the updated policy as one beautifully, simple experience. The presentation was quite rosey and appeared as if Google is doing us all a great service as they simplify their privacy policy.
So what does it all mean?
Starting on March 1st, when you use any of Google’s services (Calendar, Gmail, Search, Groups, etc.) they will collect and store that information to serve you with better advertising, search results, etc.
Doesn’t sound like a huge deal, right? Isn’t that how Google has been operating anyway?
For things like search and web browsing, yes, that is how it works today. But on March 1st, that policy allows Google to collect and combine the data across all 60 Google services to better target ads and “improve your experience.”
The problem is not so much about Google wanting to personalize your experience. The bigger problem is the privacy issue should hackers or the wrong people get a hold of this information.
Let’s say you’re doing a research paper on fighting child pornography and you do a Google search to collect some information. Maybe you even watch a few YouTube videos about people speaking out against it and send a couple of emails on the subject.
Now there is an online paper trail of you performing searches, watching videos and sending emails on child pornography that could be used against you should that data get into the wrong hands.
Now I realize this is a very extreme example, but I’m just providing one of the worst case scenarios for illustration purposes.
No Big Deal. I Can Just Opt Out, Right?
Yes, you actually can opt out and it’s very easy to do. Just log out of Google.
Problem solved, right?
For some maybe, but not for those who rely on a variety of Google services. Logging out is just not an option for many people.
That’s what bugs me the most. You either opt out and stop using all of Google’s services, or login and be forced to share everything you do. There’s no way to use their services and opt out.
Of course, the reason Google did not give us that option is because they know everyone would do just that — thus defeating the whole purpose and agenda of the new policy.
Stay Informed
This post is not about trying to turn you away from Google. I’m simply educating you on what the new policy means since you may have missed the fine print.
You have the right to be properly informed and make decisions that are appropriate for yourself and your business.
Some people have dropped Google’s products altogether, while others have decided to ride with the new policy changes.
Nevertheless, I feel a sense of responsibility to educate since so many of you use multiple Google products these days. Even if you’re OK with the new policy and plan to do nothing, you should at least understand and be aware of it.
The Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) filed a lawsuit against the FTC last Wednesday stating that Google’s new policy is a “clear violation.” However, Google insists they are not violating their user’s privacy and does not intend to change how personal information is shared outside of Google. March 1st is fast approaching, so please share this with your followers and make sure they know what they are “accepting” when the new policy takes effect.
And if you agree that Google should allow you to opt out of their services upon logging in, please sign this petition…I did.

Is it that when we give what we believe to be the ole’ college try and after only one try if it doesn’t work we move on to the next course of action or start buying the next hyped up product…Ah Know when to hold them, or try again don’t give up so fast.
Maybe just a little more testing and research about your niche’ and then apply that course again will lead you to the promise land. Try three times of attempting to reach your goals, then that’s when you fold em. In other words with most internet courses, tools and software you’ll get a 30-60 day guarantee. Don’t sit around wasting 1-2 weeks before you get started, give it the 3 time college try and then exercise your right to a refund. That’s when you fold em… but at least you’ll know you gave that course or software a damn good chance to prove itself without taken any loss.
We truly don’t want our money back, we really want it to work so we can retire from that 9-5 and have the freedom and revenue to live a more fulfilling lifestyle. How about when to walk away, we all have some guru who we truly respect and have been following for months or even years.
You just bought your gurus latest product, tool or software and wham here they come with another product and this time it says it’s better than the last one you bought or it’s now been updated. Updates aren’t bad because now-a-days when you buy you receive updates for life. But if you haven’t put in enough time to even know if product you just bought works, it’s time to just walk away from the new promotion. This guru isn’t trying to just make money off of you, he’s after the next wave of prospects that are new, or didn’t purchase the last time around… So just walk away and keep plugging away with the not so old product you bought a few months back.
How about those killer video promotions that come at you like a major motion picture and everywhere you look FB, Twitter there’s a incredible buzz loaded with great testimonials and great comments. Then they stick those screen captures of the revenue they made to the tune of $800 - $2887 a day or $20,000 a month. They got the cars, houses and vacation jpegs to prove it… that’s when you run.
Heck the product just launched how can anyone possibly reach that goal in a matter of days, instead think of all the past products people have bought… that’s when we want to read testimonials 2 months out since the launch. But we never hear from them down the road, their either so pissed and embarrassed that they or the product didn’t work. Or if it did they would be crazy to share it with you…trust me it’s a scam Run Away.
You won’t find it on the market after 2 weeks, why? If it is so good you should be able to purchase down the road at a later date but instead it has vanished off the market. Heck if I had a product that sold out, trust me I wouldn’t be taking it off the market claiming I can only handle so many clients, I would outsource. That’s nothing but a sale pitch to get you to hurry and buy… run don’t just walk away they might still come after you now that they have your email.
I have mentioned quite a few times concerning the Warrior Forum and if your not a member yet, I can’t understand what’s holding you back. Reason being if your a true Internet Marketer or are serious about getting started this is the place to be or at least investigate. All the bases our covered when it comes to serious internet marketing and you would be one smart cookie to take your questions, problems or ask for advice pertaining to any form of eCommerce.

A big hurrah to you!!!!! We’ve won for now — SOPA and PIPA were dropped by Congress today — the votes we’ve been scrambling to mobilize against have been cancelled.
The largest online protest in history has fundamentally changed the game. You were heard.
On January 18th, 13 million of us took the time to tell Congress to protect free speech rights on the internet. Hundreds of millions, maybe a billion, people all around the world saw what we did on Wednesday. See the amazing numbers here and tell everyone what you did.
This was unprecedented. Your activism may have changed the way people fight for the public interest and basic rights forever.
The MPAA (the lobby for big movie studios which created these terrible bills) was shocked and seemingly humbled. “‘This was a whole new different game all of a sudden,’ MPAA Chairman and former Senator Chris Dodd told the New York Times. ‘[PIPA and SOPA were] considered by many to be a slam dunk.’”
“’This is altogether a new effect,’ Mr. Dodd said, comparing the online movement to the Arab Spring. He could not remember seeing ‘an effort that was moving with this degree of support change this dramatically’ in the last four decades, he added.”

If you’ve been following the news at all this past week, then you’ve no doubt heard about the SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) legislation here in the U.S.
The video below discusses the Senate version of the House’s Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA). In the Senate the bill is called the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA). SOPA has gotten more attention than PIPA because it was moving faster in the legislative process. But PIPA is just as dangerous, and now it is moving faster.
PIPA would give the government new powers to block Americans’ access websites that corporations don’t like. The bill lets corporations and the US government censor entire websites and cut sites off from advertising, payments and donations.
This legislation will stifle free speech and innovation, and even threaten popular web services like Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook.
The bill is scheduled for a test vote in the Senate on Jan. 24th: We need to act now to let our lawmakers know just how terrible it is. Will you fill out the form via the link or click the banner to ask your lawmakers to oppose the legislation and support a filibuster?
Fighting online piracy is important. The most effective way to shut down pirate websites is through targeted legislation that cuts off their funding. There’s no need to make American social networks, blogs and search engines censor the Internet or undermine the existing laws that have enabled the Web to thrive, creating millions of U.S. jobs.
Too much is at stake – please vote NO on PIPA and SOPA.
